That's why at Merry Poppets® we make this transition as simple and as natural as possible for both child and parent. From that moment on we aim to make Merry Poppets a positive experience for all.
Merry Poppets has been supporting parents within Central Bedfordshire for over 17 years, our settings are located at Ampthill, Flitwick, Henlow and Westoning. Our individual approach to child care has allowed each setting to develop differently for the benefit of the children and their parents, each setting is uniquely different and as you would expect from Merry Poppets handled with the same high standards of care and professionalism.

- Register your child with the nursery administration department by calling 01462 850242 or 812470, complete and return the registration form, together with the fee and a COPY of your child's birth certificate. Please DO NOT send the original certificate.
- Book your visit to the nursery(s) of your choice
- Pre Book your settling in sessions
- If you are using vouchers to pay for your child care, start the registration process with the voucher company and nursery. It can often take up to 8 weeks to process the required paperwork.

My son absolutely loves merry poppets. Ever since he started there I have seen a growth in my son academically & emotionally. The staff there are so caring & loving. Even if there is an issue they make sure to take their time to explain things through in a respectful manner. Honestly I wouldn't want my son anywhere else.
My son attended Merry Poppets nursery from around 18 months until the summer of 2022 and we could not fault the care and support he received throughout his time there. As a September baby, I was always worried because all his friends started school the year before he did, but the staff (Steph in particular), did a fantastic job at getting him school ready and he ended up acting as a mentor/role model to the younger children in the room. As a result of this, he has completely thrived at school, excelling in most of his subjects (a year or two above his peers) and we couldn't be more proud. Communication was always good from the staff and would highly recommend this setting for babies/children of any age.
Our son loved attending this nursery built strong relationships with other children and has learnt so much from the adults supporting his development. Although we were sad to leave Merry Poppets I truly believe our son has had the best possible start to his early years education.
My son's left this summer after over 3 years at Merry Poppets Westoning. The staff here are incredible from being greeted at the door each day to collection, all of the team are friendly and personable. Supportive with any change to his routine working closely with us during things like potty training.
